Gilberto Liher charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Liher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tarea Fina FC booed when Panaholma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Liher didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Bernabe Veto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarea Fina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernabe Veto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Qwinton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Candido Qwinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Veto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Bernabe Veto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agustin Clodio made a great header on Tarea Fina FC's corner, it was just that Panaholma FC's Candido Qwinton managed to reach the ball for a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernabe Veto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isidro Mergildo's late challenge caught a Panaholma FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With his leg Tomás Claude managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Panaholma FC's Carlos Ramos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tarea Fina FC's Tomás Claude played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Tebaldo in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Romeo Roldanillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tarea Fina FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Romeo Roldanillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Candido Qwinton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Panaholma FC's zone, Romeo Roldanillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Candido Qwinton came out of the goal and Romeo Roldanillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Ramos got free with Tomás Claude in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 89 played minutes Tarea Fina FC got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Sotil. After 91 played minutes, Panaholma FC's Maximino Xabier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomás Claude came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Gilberto Liher fired a really elegant long shot, but Tomás Claude threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. With a little luck, Tarea Fina FC's Tomás Claude got control of the ball when Carlos Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. There was no doubt that Tarea Fina FC were the better team. Tarea Fina FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
