After 3 played minutes Freyre got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Louis. In the 14th minute of the match, Gabriel Jaizki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rene Umbruso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Eliseo Hanot fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joe FC's protests and gave Eliseo Hanot a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19thth minute of the game Leonides Florinio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joe FC's Rene Umbruso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Freddy Sanduru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonides Florinio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Rene Umbruso made a huge save. David Oton struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Laureano Lugo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joe FC. Laureano Lugo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Freddy Sanduru went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the game, Zacarias Bizi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Freyre the free kick. Zacarias Bizi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Higinio Cilio fired a really elegant long shot, but Rene Umbruso threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Laureano Lugo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Oton in the 45th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Gabriel Jaizki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freyre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Jaizki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Jaizki to strike the kick off in the second half. Laureano Lugo made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Freddy Sanduru sent off a good shot on target. Rene Umbruso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonides Florinio's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Alejandro Gai kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Leonides Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rene Umbruso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Freddy Sanduru fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Laureano Lugo, passed just outside the right post. When David Oton came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Joe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Oton couldn't finish the play. Leonides Florinio struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Rene Umbruso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Freyre. Alejandro Gai might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laureano Lugo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejandro Gai ran back to his position shaking his head. Joe FC's Freddy Sanduru got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonides Florinio struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Rene Umbruso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Freyre. Gabriel Jaizki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joe FC's Rene Umbruso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Florinio in the 86th minute of play. If Leonides Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Gai hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 96th match minute, Freyre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Patxi to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute Saul Itzaina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Lugo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Joe FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
