In the 19th minute, Pelicurá's Herminio Colon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Ruben Casomiro hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute of the match, Efrain Senio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Blas Duarte was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
