In the 8th minute Gabriel Jaizki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Gabriel Jaizki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th match minute, Apóstoles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Paez to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Obeko did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Laureano Lugo 20 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes Freyre got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Montez. Apóstoles FC's Delmar Musko broke free in the 33rd minute of the match and struck a powerful long shot that almost became a goal, but instead the ball went outside the right post. An obvious chance of a goal. In the 35th minute Leonides Florinio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Obeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Jaizki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Blanco having to interfere. Gabriel Jaizki struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Roberto Blanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Freyre. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Jaizki to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonides Florinio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Roberto Blanco made a huge save. Marcial Florian hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Higinio Cilio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Carmelo Porfirio might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laureano Lugo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Porfirio ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Apóstoles FC defense, Leonides Florinio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Blanco. The Apóstoles FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Blanco should have stopped the shot.
