Carlos Ramos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Blas Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Tebaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, Panaholma FC's Serafin Txartiko got a free kick in the 12th minute. Marco Rosalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 played minutes Panaholma FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Ramos. A collision led to Deportivo Angustia getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Constantino Guerau hit a great ball. Panaholma FC's Rafael Berdaitz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Blas Duarte but with some difficulty. In the 22nd minute of the match, Paulino Tebaldo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Blas Duarte saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Deportivo Angustia's Blas Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Angustia from getting a goal against them. Albano Argider's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Candido Qwinton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Igor Gilesindo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, one of Deportivo Angustia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Angustia. Blas Duarte had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Mariano Weterio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 32nd minute, Mariano Weterio made a precise shot to the right of Blas Duarte. Deportivo Angustia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Carlos Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Panaholma FC's Carlos Ramos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Blas Duarte. That made the score 4-0 after 40 minutes of play. Blas Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Tebaldo in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulino Tebaldo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Richie in the 66th minute of play forced Deportivo Angustia's goalkeeper Blas Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
