Freyre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Florinio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Calchaqui FC II's Cecilio Valery got a free kick in the 5th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimeno Cresconio during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Freyre booed when Calchaqui FC II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Cresconio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 minutes, Cecilio Valery mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calchaqui FC II and the Freyre players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, one of Calchaqui FC II:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Calchaqui FC II. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Freyre. Higinio Cilio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Robert Rojas. 0-1. Esteve Dominguez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 17th minute, Gabriel Jaizki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Poz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Laureano Lugo came out and tried to block the shot, but Adolfo Poz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 20th minute. Laureano Lugo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. Esteve Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Adolfo Poz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Adolfo Poz came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Calchaqui FC II fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Poz couldn't finish the play. If Esteve Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Freyre booed when Calchaqui FC II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Lon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes Adolfo Poz rounded Freyre's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Poz to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Poz in the 63rd minute of play forced Freyre's goalkeeper Laureano Lugo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Calchaqui FC II fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Calchaqui FC II's Adolfo Poz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee ended the match the Calchaqui FC II players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
