Lucas Vasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Claude having to interfere. When Guillermo Sotil fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarea Fina FC's protests and gave Guillermo Sotil a yellow card for diving instead. 17 minutes into the match, Tarea Fina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Ihintza came free, but Tomás Claude reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tarea Fina FC's Tomás Claude played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Ihintza in the 19th minute of play. Tomás Claude took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Ihintza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Guaberto Argi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Ihintza in the 28th minute of play forced Tarea Fina FC's goalkeeper Tomás Claude to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Ihintza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Tarea Fina FC's Romeo Roldanillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximiliano Hulberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Janta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Roldanillo came free, but Maximiliano Hulberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Tarea Fina FC defense, Silvestre Ihintza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Claude. The Tarea Fina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Claude should have stopped the shot. After the first half Janta FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernabe Veto made a kick off. Tomás Claude had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Ernesto Urdin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ismael Donostia hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 60 minutes in the game Ernesto Urdin after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Tomás Claude. A very good opportunity. 61 minutes into the match, Tarea Fina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Ihintza came free, but Tomás Claude reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernabe Veto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Maximiliano Hulberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Anacleto Brun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Janta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tarea Fina FC the free kick. 82 minutes into the match, Tarea Fina FC's Romeo Roldanillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximiliano Hulberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Lucas Vasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Claude. Tarea Fina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Vasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 89thth minute of the game Romeo Roldanillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Janta FC's Maximiliano Hulberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guillermo Sotil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximiliano Hulberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Roldanillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Bernabe Veto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Roldanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Hulberto having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Janta FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
