Carmelo Porfirio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Obeko in the 18th minute of play forced Tarea Fina FC's goalkeeper Tomás Claude to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Osvaldo Obeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Obeko made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Apóstoles FC's zone, Romeo Roldanillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Blanco came out of the goal and Romeo Roldanillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Romeo Roldanillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeo Roldanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Blanco having to interfere. Carmelo Porfirio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Claude having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Romeo Roldanillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Blanco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Romeo Roldanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Blanco having to interfere. Romeo Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Apóstoles FC's zone, Romeo Roldanillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Blanco came out of the goal and Romeo Roldanillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romeo Roldanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Blanco having to interfere. Tomás Claude showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Porfirio, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Tarea Fina FC's Tomás Claude played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Obeko in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Ulises Mino made a precise shot to the right of Tomás Claude. Tarea Fina FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When Osvaldo Obeko came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Apóstoles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Obeko couldn't finish the play. Romeo Roldanillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Roberto Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Apóstoles FC's goalkeeper Roberto Blanco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeo Roldanillo. Carmelo Porfirio scored 2-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás Claude, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Apóstoles FC's goalkeeper Roberto Blanco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Ulises Mino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apóstoles FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tarea Fina FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Apóstoles FC.
