Montoneros's Timoteo Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Paublo in the 17th minute of play. Melchor Ihazintu might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timoteo Muc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Melchor Ihazintu ran back to his position shaking his head. Teo Gaur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Fidele went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Erasmo Ciceron kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Anibal Loiola, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Montoneros's Paulo Fidele got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Melchor Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Paulo Fidele managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montoneros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Fidele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melchor Ihazintu to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Elixio got free with Timoteo Muc in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mi seleccion's Teo Gaur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Fidele in the 55th minute of play. Melchor Ihazintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Muc having to interfere. Paulo Fidele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Teo Gaur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Ihazintu in the 68th minute of play. If Melchor Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Timoteo Muc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Ihazintu in the 88th minute of the match. A collision led to Montoneros getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Serafin Beti hit a great ball. Anibal Loiola made a great header on Mi seleccion's corner, it was just that Montoneros's Timoteo Muc managed to reach the ball for a save. Timoteo Muc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camilo Elixio in the 97th minute. The Mi seleccion players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Montoneros from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
