Isaac Karmel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Herrera's late challenge caught a Gordoneta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 94th minute Conrado Nel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Gordoneta FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Diecisiete F.C.
