The supporters of Lobos booed when Montoneros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Beti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timoteo Muc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th match minute, Montoneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Barea to maneuver through the defense. Marcelino Roldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th match minute, Montoneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Ciceron to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Braulio Enaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Muc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelino Roldan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Muc having to interfere. The Lobos fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Lobos's Braulio Enaut looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Lobos booed when Montoneros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Enaut struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Timoteo Muc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobos. In the 34th minute, Marcelino Roldan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timoteo Muc was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 38 minutes into the match, Montoneros's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Enaut came free, but Timoteo Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arnaldo Eyague had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Fidele got free with Horacio Gabirel in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelino Roldan scored 0-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timoteo Muc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Braulio Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 48th play minutes Marcelino Roldan shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Timoteo Muc and just under the crossbar into goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Eyague to make the kick off. Lobos's Marcelino Roldan got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timoteo Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Braulio Enaut had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timoteo Muc. Montoneros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braulio Enaut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. With a little luck, Montoneros's Timoteo Muc got control of the ball when Braulio Enaut tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Paulo Fidele had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horacio Gabirel. Lobos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Fidele was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After 76 played minutes Lobos got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Abel. In the 77th minute, Arnaldo Eyague got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jairo Pietro hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. A hard shot 90 in the game by Braulio Enaut from a close distance when the talented Timoteo Muc managed to make a qualified save. Montoneros's players were relieved. Braulio Enaut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Timoteo Muc made a huge save. In the 97th minute, Braulio Enaut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lobos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. When the match was over Lobos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Montoneros throughout the match.
