Spectators: 7208 (Terracing: 5408, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amado Izotz got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Diecisiete F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Lope to maneuver through the defense. When Mauro Lope came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Diecisiete F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Lope couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Diecisiete F.C's zone, Valentin Cresencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Karmel came out of the goal and Valentin Cresencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisito Rami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Lope, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Luisito Rami came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Diecisiete F.C's Amado Izotz. But to his dismay, Amado Izotz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eleuterio Santio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luisito Rami. Pampayasta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Diecisiete F.C's Amado Izotz in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pampayasta's goalie prevented a goal. Isaac Karmel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Cresencio in the 22nd minute of play. Isaac Karmel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godofredo Quirce in the 23rd minute. Valentin Herrera hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Isaac Karmel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Cresencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Valentin Cresencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pampayasta's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Cresencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Karmel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Diecisiete F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Celso Playo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Pampayasta's Aaron Birjaio got a free kick in the 56th minute. Isaac Karmel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Cresencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Valentin Cresencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisito Rami made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Mauro Lope sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Cresencio in the 86th minute of play forced Diecisiete F.C's goalkeeper Isaac Karmel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mauro Lope came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Diecisiete F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Lope couldn't finish the play.
