The referee ignored Atalaya FC's protests and gave Reynaldo Jerico a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atalaya FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Atalaya FC:s Luisito Asier showed great skill when he stopped Maximo Ovando:s penalty. 18 minutes into the match, Atalaya FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Eyague came free, but Luisito Asier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Montoneros getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Venancio Gilabert hit a great ball. Reynaldo Jerico took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Timoteo Muc. Montoneros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 24th minute, Matias Rolado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Atalaya FC's Luisito Asier got control of the ball when Paulo Fidele tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Fidele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Luisito Asier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teobaldo Ponc struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Timoteo Muc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atalaya FC. 33 minutes into the game, Celso Remigio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atalaya FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montoneros the free kick. A collision led to Atalaya FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Luisito Asier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Eyague, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With his leg Timoteo Muc managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Atalaya FC's Teobaldo Ponc fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Matias Rolado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timoteo Muc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Montoneros's zone, Matias Rolado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Muc came out of the goal and Matias Rolado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Paulo Fidele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atalaya FC's Reynaldo Jerico shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Timoteo Muc but with some difficulty. After 78 played minutes Montoneros got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Ovando. Saverio Honesto kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Montoneros's Timoteo Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Rolado in the 88th minute of play. Ermegildo Chesus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luisito Asier. Atalaya FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Celso Remigio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teobaldo Ponc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Montoneros had won after a very even match.
