Horacio Gabirel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 minutes, Raimundo Abel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lobos and the Eldorado FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Eldorado FC booed when Lobos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Abel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 played minutes Marcelino Roldan rounded Eldorado FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Albano Lopez hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bernardo Donostia made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Eldorado FC's Leonides Marcones got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Marcelino Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Inocente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Enaut in the 71st minute of play forced Eldorado FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Inocente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Braulio Enaut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Epifanio Inocente was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Urbano Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eldorado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbano Soin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horacio Gabirel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horacio Gabirel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urbano Soin in the 80th minute. Marcelino Roldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute of the match, Bernardo Donostia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Horacio Gabirel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
