A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Gigante Futbol Club's goalkeeper Tomás Abarca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Esiquio. Placido Esiquio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Tomás Abarca made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Arnaldo Aurre put in a rough tackle. 11 minutes into the game, one of Gigante Futbol Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 14 minutes, Ildefonso Karlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gigante Futbol Club and the Casavindo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Placido Esiquio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tomás Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Orain in the 18th minute of the match. Elpidio Tiadoro came out of the goal and Jesus Belasko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Placido Esiquio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Tomás Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gigante Futbol Club's zone, Ulises Mero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Abarca came out of the goal and Ulises Mero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulises Mero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Casavindo's Placido Esiquio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Abarca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amancio Rodriguez was the one to do the kick off. Elpidio Tiadoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amancio Rodriguez in the 58th minute. A collision led to Gigante Futbol Club getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Amancio Rodriguez hit a great ball. Placido Esiquio took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Abarca. Tomás Abarca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 96 minutes into the match, Gigante Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Xacintu came free, but Tomás Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Casavindo were the better team. Casavindo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
