Bonifacio Poz came out of the goal and Amancio Rodriguez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Erlantz in the 23rd minute of play forced Gigante Futbol Club's goalkeeper Tomás Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaias Iraunkor hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Amancio Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Bonifacio Poz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Erlantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Abarca having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Gigante Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Iraunkor came free, but Tomás Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigante Futbol Club's Tomás Abarca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Gigante Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix Erlantz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Felix Erlantz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gigante Futbol Club's Tomás Abarca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felix Erlantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tomás Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 60th minute when Felix Erlantz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 64th minute Felix Erlantz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Abarca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Cristo Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Bertran during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. Gigante Futbol Club:s Tomás Abarca showed great skill when he stopped Cleto Orlanda:s penalty. 80 minutes into the match, Cleto Orlanda notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Gigante Futbol Club's Tomás Abarca. Tomás Abarca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Gigante Futbol Club's Rigoberto Bertran got a free kick in the 86th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rotenbürgo fully deserved thier win.
