Ripamonti's Teofilo Gagriel got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Chucho in the 35th minute of play forced Coby The Dog's goalkeeper Melquiades Favila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Hernan Bernad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coby The Dog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Bernad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermengildo Chucho to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Dalmacio Fonda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ripamonti and the Coby The Dog players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dalmacio Fonda hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match.
