Coby The Dog's Melquiades Favila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Petri in the 22nd minute of play. Lázaro Cambranes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Aedes Aegyptis getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gabriel Osoro hit a great ball. German Peyo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lázaro Cambranes. Aedes Aegyptis's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Melquiades Favila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laureano Haritz in the 37th minute. Melquiades Favila was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Laureano Haritz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Laureano Haritz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anastasio Ofelio was the one to do the kick off. Laureano Haritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Melquiades Favila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anastasio Ofelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute Anastasio Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Cambranes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Santos Blai fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aedes Aegyptis's protests and gave Santos Blai a yellow card for diving instead. Santos Blai hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Aedes Aegyptis's Santos Blai got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Santos Blai off the ground. Santos Blai kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Coby The Dog's Hernan Bernad got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aedes Aegyptis's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Anastasio Ofelio scored to the left of an out of position Lázaro Cambranes, making the score, 1-2.
