With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godfredo Ortle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, Marcelino Baumer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godfredo Ortle. Ranelagh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelino Baumer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ranelagh's Godofredo Frutos got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evelio Inko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Frutos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Tadeo Enol notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ranelagh's Godfredo Ortle. Godfredo Ortle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Justino Quexal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Evelio Inko made a huge save. The Ranelagh players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Huracán FC were winning 0-2.

Evelio Inko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Frutos in the 59th minute of play. Marcelino Baumer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marcelino Baumer came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Huracán FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Baumer couldn't finish the play.
