A collision led to Huracán FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Eduardo Barea hit a great ball. In the 14th minute of the match Hugo Rami sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evelio Inko skillfully saved the ball. In the 18th minute, Timoteo Primo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timoteo Primo scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evelio Inko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Niato FC booed when Huracán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Gorbea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmar Egun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Aureliano Etor fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huracán FC's protests and gave Aureliano Etor a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delmar Egun to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Niato FC's Aureliano Salomone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evelio Inko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aureliano Etor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernabe Salvator read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Haroldo Elizardo's late challenge caught a Niato FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Elizardo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Huracán FC's Haroldo Elizardo got a free kick in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Niato FC's zone, Marcelino Baumer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Salvator came out of the goal and Marcelino Baumer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernabe Salvator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Etor in the 65th minute of play. If Delmar Egun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Baumer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Bernabe Salvator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelino Baumer might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernabe Salvator. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelino Baumer ran back to his position shaking his head. Niato FC's Timoteo Primo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 82 minutes in the game, fortunately Evelio Inko had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Delmar Egun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Marcelino Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niato FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
