Carpintería's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Claus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braulio Salvidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braulio Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Ulizes, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Jacobo Tiadoro came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Saguier's Fabio Froylan. But to his dismay, Fabio Froylan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Saguier fully deserved thier win.
