Cosme Elixio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Etor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelino Baumer took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosme Elixio. Cosme Elixio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Wilfredo Jeraldo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 35th playminute. After having played for 39 minutes, Romulo Menendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilcaniyeu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Menendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eduardo Barea kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Aureliano Etor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romulo Menendo was the one to do the kick off. Cornelio Fraco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilfredo Jeraldo scored 3-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evelio Inko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelino Baumer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Wilfredo Jeraldo came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Pilcaniyeu fans jumped to their feet. In the 81st minute, one of Pilcaniyeu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pilcaniyeu. When the match had been going on for 83 minutes, Huracán FC's Fabian Galsino got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cosme Elixio. Wilfredo Jeraldo struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Evelio Inko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilcaniyeu. After having played for 89 minutes, Wilfredo Jeraldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
