With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Berart in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godfredo Ortle saved Ranelagh from getting behind. After having played for 14 minutes, Iker Handi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iker Handi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godfredo Ortle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Primitivo Ourente went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iker Handi in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godfredo Ortle saved Ranelagh from getting behind. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Ranelagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Aznaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ranelagh defense, Iker Handi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Godfredo Ortle. The Ranelagh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godfredo Ortle should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 24 in the game by Justino Quexal from a close distance when the talented Gabriel Inautzi managed to make a qualified save. Boca Juniors's players were relieved. Fulgencio Gaizko charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fulgencio Gaizko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Godfredo Ortle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Berart in the 71st minute of the match. When Fulgencio Gaizko was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. Godfredo Ortle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Berart in the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Ranelagh booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Ourente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boca Juniors's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
