Lucas Mincho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Evis having to interfere. Mario Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Mincho in the 12th minute of play. Lucas Mincho struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Mario Evis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Franpitoduro. 19 minutes into the match, Franpitoduro's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Etxekopar came free, but Herminio Sein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franpitoduro's Herminio Sein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Bermudo in the 22nd minute of play. When Martin Ourente fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Franpitoduro's protests and gave Martin Ourente a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of C. D. y S. M. M. Güemes booed when Franpitoduro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Ourente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franpitoduro's Herminio Sein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Etxekopar in the 27th minute of play. Gilberto Tano hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Ernesto Etxekopar took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herminio Sein. Herminio Sein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Abel Bermudo came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the C. D. y S. M. M. Güemes fans jumped to their feet. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Etxekopar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Abel Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. D. y S. M. M. Güemes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Bermudo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilberto Tano hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Herminio Sein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Etxekopar in the 58th minute of play. Fulgencio Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Etxekopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Sein having to interfere. Abel Bermudo took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herminio Sein. Herminio Sein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Mario Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Roldanillo in the 76th minute of play. Franpitoduro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Ernesto Etxekopar scored to the left of an out of position Herminio Sein, making the score, 1-4. Mario Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Mincho in the 85th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nemesio Luzaide during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nemesio Luzaide hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Abel Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. D. y S. M. M. Güemes's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Bermudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Sein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Ernesto Etxekopar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 95th minute, Fulgencio Roldanillo made a precise shot to the right of Mario Evis. C. D. y S. M. M. Güemes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. When the match was over C. D. y S. M. M. Güemes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Franpitoduro throughout the match.
