In the 10th minute Reynaldo Tono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Chago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pulares's Cristo Malvin got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Malvin in the 16th minute of play forced Atlético Les Paul's goalkeeper Edelmiro Chago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Su struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Miguel Basajaun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Les Paul. If Aristides Gaueko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Iturri in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Basajaun saved Pulares from getting behind. After 27 played minutes Atlético Les Paul got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Txurio. After recieving a nice pass, Pulares's Edgard Truylos tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Cristo Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Les Paul's goalkeeper Edelmiro Chago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pulares's Cristo Malvin got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Pulares's Reynaldo Tono got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Atlético Les Paul's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Malvin came free, but Edelmiro Chago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Pulares's Cristo Malvin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edelmiro Chago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute Ceferino Iturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Basajaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cristo Malvin came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Pulares fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Malvin couldn't finish the play. After having played for 91 minutes, Aristides Gaueko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Les Paul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Gaueko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ceferino Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
