After a rather tough play, Shen Long FC's Mauro Rodriguez got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Santiago in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Rodriguez saved Shen Long FC from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Shen Long FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Paez came free, but Luciano Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaias Santiago in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Rodriguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Nottingham Forest F.C. booed when Shen Long FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Isaias Santiago made a precise shot to the right of Luciano Rodriguez. Shen Long FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Nottingham Forest F.C.'s Jeronimo Perez got a free kick in the 77th minute. Hernan Paez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. The Shen Long FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luciano Rodriguez should have stopped the shot. After having played for 95 minutes, Hernan Paez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nottingham Forest F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Paez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
