The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teodosio Lope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vladimiro Jaizki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Tristan, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Manuel Tristan might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimiro Jaizki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Tristan ran back to his position shaking his head. Manuel Tristan struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Vladimiro Jaizki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VILLA LURO. Vladimiro Jaizki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Lope in the 16th minute of the match. With a little luck, VILLA LURO's Martin Furtado got control of the ball when Aquiles Edur tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, Modesto Chuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Modesto Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vladimiro Jaizki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Lope in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cachirulo FC's Jonathan Markel got a free kick in the 40th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Modesto Chuan to make the kick off. Manuel Tristan took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimiro Jaizki. Vladimiro Jaizki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 60 minutes, Candido Rico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VILLA LURO and the Cachirulo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 66 minutes, Aquiles Edur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachirulo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Edur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Modesto Chuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Martin Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes VILLA LURO got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Liher. If Teodosio Lope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Lope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Jaizki having to interfere. Vladimiro Jaizki was a little too slow when Teodosio Lope got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-2. With a little luck, Cachirulo FC's Vladimiro Jaizki got control of the ball when Manuel Tristan tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Candido Rico was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. After 91 played minutes VILLA LURO got a freekick which was hit by Candido Rico. After having played for 93 minutes, Aquiles Edur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachirulo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Edur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The VILLA LURO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing VILLA LURO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
