INDEPENDIENTE's Isaac Llorian got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, VILLA LURO's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Llorian came free, but Martin Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE's Isaac Llorian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Furtado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isaac Llorian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 58 minutes, Aquilino Firmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INDEPENDIENTE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Firmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Candido Rico's late challenge caught a INDEPENDIENTE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Candido Rico helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes VILLA LURO got a freekick which was hit by Candido Rico. Isaac Llorian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Martin Furtado made a huge save. Aquilino Firmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Llorian ran back to his position shaking his head. Aquilino Firmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Llorian took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Furtado. Martin Furtado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 88th minute, Isaac Llorian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Isaac Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in VILLA LURO's zone, Generoso Cordario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Furtado came out of the goal and Generoso Cordario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes in the game, Aquilino Firmo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When the final whistle sounded INDEPENDIENTE left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than VILLA LURO.
