If Octavio Beti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavio Beti in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Kimetz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Beti in the 33rd minute of play forced Catenaccio FC's goalkeeper Tobias Kimetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Viator could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Tobias Kimetz made a huge save. Jesus Ramone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Versailles FC's goalkeeper Jesus Ramone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute Lázaro Etxekopar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Ramone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Beti made a kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Octavio Beti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catenaccio FC's Tobias Kimetz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Catenaccio FC's Rogelio Bernal got a free kick in the 60th minute. Tobias Kimetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Viator, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute of the match Vladimiro Lonzo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesus Ramone showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the game, one of Versailles FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Catenaccio FC's Jesus Luzaide got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jesus Ramone. Jesus Ramone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Etxekopar in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Catenaccio FC booed when Versailles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Macerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesus Ramone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Etxekopar in the 83rd minute of the match. Catenaccio FC's Eloy Johans got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Catenaccio FC booed when Versailles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Claus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesus Ramone was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jesus Luzaide. Jesus Ramone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the game, Pedro Viator cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Tobias Kimetz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
