The referee ignored Ullún AFC's protests and gave Honorio Bernat a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bonpland FC booed when Ullún AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Bernat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Bela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hipolito Paublo's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 3-1 became the score in the 29th minute when Bernardino Evis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bonpland FC's zone, Baldomero Mercurio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Bela came out of the goal and Baldomero Mercurio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bonpland FC's Isidoro Weather got a free kick in the 40th minute. The supporters of Ullún AFC booed when Bonpland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Weather didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Faustino Tello made the kick off in the second half. Orlando Bela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Tello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Bonpland FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 59 minutes into the match, Ullún AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Evis came free, but Tiburcio Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Rencio came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Bonpland FC's Israel Corderall. But to his dismay, Israel Corderall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After 67 minutes of play, Bonpland FC's Bernardino Evis made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Rencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cipriano Odon charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cipriano Odon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th match minute, Ullún AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Odon to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Israel Corderall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Baldomero Mercurio came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Ullún AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Mercurio couldn't finish the play. After having played for 83 minutes, Baldomero Mercurio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ullún AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Mercurio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 minutes, Isidoro Weather mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bonpland FC and the Ullún AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Bonpland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Weather to maneuver through the defense.
