Gervasio Ipar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Aguilera having to interfere. If Gervasio Ipar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervasio Ipar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gervasio Ipar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horacio Aguilera having to make a save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Aldosivi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! The referee gave LaMaquinita a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Siro Rufio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aldosivi's Horacio Aguilera. 2-1. Marco Todor struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Patricio Matteo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aldosivi.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauro Gonzalez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
