Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hermengildo Laurgain started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Hipolito Alfonso came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Rancul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito Alfonso couldn't finish the play. Hipolito Alfonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Francisco Aureo made a huge save. Agustin Cefero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hipolito Alfonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Berriotxoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Bento in the 19th minute of play. Rancul's Hermengildo Laurgain got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Francisco Aureo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hipolito Alfonso. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Hipolito Alfonso put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Francisco Aureo. Hipolito Alfonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Arnau's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Arnau helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Rancul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Arnau to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Francisco Aureo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hipolito Alfonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Aureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Laurgain in the 60th minute of the match. Racing Club's Francisco Aureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Laurgain in the 62nd minute of play. Hipolito Alfonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Aureo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Hermengildo Laurgain succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. In the 69th minute, Casimiro Raymundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermengildo Laurgain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Francisco Aureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hipolito Alfonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Hermengildo Laurgain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Aureo was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Hipolito Alfonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Aureo came out of the goal and Hipolito Alfonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86th play minutes Hermengildo Laurgain shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Francisco Aureo and just under the crossbar into goal. Hipolito Alfonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Aureo having to interfere. Hermengildo Laurgain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Rancul players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
