After having played for 10 minutes, Marco Todor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aldosivi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Todor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Catenaccio FC's Eloy Johans got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Aldosivi's goalkeeper Horacio Aguilera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eloy Johans. Lázaro Etxekopar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Etxekopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Aguilera having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Johans got free with Horacio Aguilera in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodosio Frichoso's late challenge caught a Catenaccio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodosio Frichoso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Aldosivi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Frichoso to maneuver through the defense. Catenaccio FC's Eloy Johans got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Catenaccio FC's zone, Eulalio Martino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Kimetz came out of the goal and Eulalio Martino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eulalio Martino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobias Kimetz having to make a save. After 66 minutes of play, Aldosivi's Marco Todor made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Kimetz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lázaro Etxekopar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horacio Aguilera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Aldosivi's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Johans came free, but Horacio Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Eulalio Martino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Kimetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Todor struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Tobias Kimetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aldosivi. Rogelio Bernal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Aguilera having to interfere. Lázaro Etxekopar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horacio Aguilera having to make a save.
