With a left leg Jesus Ramone saved Versailles FC from getting behind. After 18 played minutes Ullún AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Odon. Tiburcio Rencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavio Beti's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Beti in the 22nd minute of play forced Ullún AFC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Ramone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomero Mercurio went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 45 minutes of play, Versailles FC's Pedro Viator made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Rencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Ullún AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octavio Beti to strike the kick off in the second half. If Faustino Tello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 58 minutes, Baldomero Mercurio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ullún AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Mercurio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casimiro Aimar hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Alvaro Macerio's late challenge caught a Ullún AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvaro Macerio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Versailles FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Tiburcio Rencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Beti in the 91st minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Versailles FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Jesus Ramone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Tello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
