Cirilo Lleir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Mattin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artemio Lluciano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Melquiades Mattin put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cirilo Lleir. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Siambón's goalkeeper Javier Bieito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emilio Iraunkor struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Cirilo Lleir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Siambón. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
