Adolfo Iturri took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingo Sal. Domingo Sal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Adolfo Iturri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laguna AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Iturri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Sal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Adolfo Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Vellito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Domingo Sal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baldomiro Jordy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patricio Vellito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 66th minute Adolfo Iturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Sal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Iturri in the 78th minute of play forced Never Back Down's goalkeeper Domingo Sal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Lapurdi made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Alejo Maurino sent off a good shot on target. After 87 played minutes Laguna AFC got a freekick which was hit by Saul Bastian. When Feliciano Onofre came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Never Back Down fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Onofre couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Simon Aureo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute Baldomero Danel suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 96th minute, Alejo Maurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Laguna AFC were the better team. Laguna AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
