The audience was convinced that Domingo Cidro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimiro Ebardo was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Domingo Cidro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimiro Ebardo having to make a save. El carcelero's Paulo Nesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Florinio in the 21st minute of play. Eugenio Florinio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Nesor having to make a save. After 36 played minutes, Super Gula's Fidel Gora shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Nesor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Super Gula reached it. Eugenio Florinio struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Paulo Nesor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Super Gula. After 38 minutes, Gervasio Oso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El carcelero and the Super Gula players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, El carcelero's Gervasio Oso got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Cesar Llin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in El carcelero's zone, Justo Abeijon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Nesor came out of the goal and Justo Abeijon tried to chip the ball over his head. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Llin in the 55th minute of play forced El carcelero's goalkeeper Paulo Nesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesar Llin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Benito Pacorro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimiro Ebardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Cesar Llin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Super Gula's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Llin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Nesor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cesar Llin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Nesor having to interfere. With a little luck, El carcelero's Paulo Nesor got control of the ball when Eugenio Florinio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Nesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Llin in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match Super Gula got a corner. El carcelero's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Faustino Sugoi ran over to the corner to take the kick. 81 minutes into the match, El carcelero's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Llin came free, but Paulo Nesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Domingo Cidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Ebardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Super Gula's Lucio Valerio got a free kick in the 84th minute. Celedonio Eguen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vladimiro Ebardo. Super Gula's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Super Gula's Eugenio Florinio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Nesor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.
