Lino Sotero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ElpataFC. In the 17th minute, Leonardo Christobal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Natalio Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Ricardo Lain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Sotero having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Ismael Enaut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ElpataFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Enaut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elena's goalkeeper Lino Sotero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of ElpataFC booed when Elena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Diagur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Enaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Sotero having to interfere. In the 38th minute Ismael Enaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Elena's zone, Marciano Gartzea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Sotero came out of the goal and Marciano Gartzea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Elena's Eloy Guillerme got a free kick in the 41st minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Ismael Enaut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ElpataFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Enaut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Leonardo Christobal notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Elena's Lino Sotero. Lino Sotero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roman Txordon to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Elena's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Enaut came free, but Lino Sotero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Christobal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Darien might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lino Sotero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Darien ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonardo Christobal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Lino Sotero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Rene Frantzes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Sotero came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by ElpataFC's Leonardo Christobal. But to his dismay, Leonardo Christobal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 69 minutes into the game, Ricardo Lain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Lino Sotero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardo Lain might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lino Sotero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Lain ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricardo Lain struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Lino Sotero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ElpataFC. When ElpataFC's Marciano Gartzea in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elena's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Lain in the 94th minute of play forced Elena's goalkeeper Lino Sotero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Elena getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Isaac Diagur hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ElpataFC had played much better football throughout.
