The supporters of Elena booed when Rustico F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Gonzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Bortzaioriz in the 5th minute of play forced Rustico F.C's goalkeeper Arsenio Goren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Virgilio Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Guaberto Jaume managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rustico F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Jaume was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Sotero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elena's Lino Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Gonzo in the 21st minute of play. Arsenio Goren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Txordon, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Virgilio Gonzo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 29th minute Virgilio Gonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Virgilio Gonzo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lino Sotero, 1-0. The penalty shot was made by Leonel Nardo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Elena's Lino Sotero. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Jaume in the 88th minute of play forced Elena's goalkeeper Lino Sotero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rustico F.C's Victorio Pasqual pulled a muscle in his back after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 89 minutes into the game, Isaac Diagur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rustico F.C the free kick. Isaac Diagur hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Elena's zone, Guaberto Jaume stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Sotero came out of the goal and Guaberto Jaume tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rustico F.C's Guaberto Jaume got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
