Santiago Birila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Nabar having to interfere. Ambrosio Nabar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Birila in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, Buchanan AFC's Ildefonso Gamus got a free kick in the 26th minute. Basilio Bilbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Pirro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Buchanan AFC's zone, Aquiles Pirro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Ciceron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Basilio Bilbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambrosio Nabar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Ruisko in the 92nd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Alvariño AFC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Ciceron. The Alvariño AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Alvariño AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
