Basilio Bilbo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Basilio Bilbo made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Guaberto Jaume sent off a good shot on target. Guaberto Jaume's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basilio Bilbo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Rustico F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Birila came free, but Arsenio Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenio Goren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Birila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guaberto Jaume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Buchanan AFC's Benito Lauaxeta got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When Ubaldo Ruisko fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buchanan AFC's protests and gave Ubaldo Ruisko a yellow card for diving instead. Ubaldo Ruisko hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes Rustico F.C got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Jaume. Ubaldo Ruisko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ubaldo Ruisko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Intxixu's late challenge caught a Rustico F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Intxixu helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Buchanan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Intxixu. When Ildefonso Gamus fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buchanan AFC's protests and gave Ildefonso Gamus a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Buchanan AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ildefonso Gamus hit a great ball. Buchanan AFC's Basilio Bilbo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Buchanan AFC from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Guaberto Jaume made the kick off in the second half. Santiago Birila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Arsenio Goren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Santiago Birila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buchanan AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Birila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Rustico F.C booed when Buchanan AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Gamus didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Santiago Birila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arsenio Goren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Ruisko in the 66th minute of play. Guaberto Jaume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Basilio Bilbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaberto Jaume fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Bilbo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Birila got free with Arsenio Goren in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Ruisko in the 78th minute of play forced Rustico F.C's goalkeeper Arsenio Goren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Buchanan AFC booed when Rustico F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Gonzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Birila struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Arsenio Goren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buchanan AFC. Virgilio Gonzo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Buchanan AFC's Marciano Cordeal tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Santiago Birila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rustico F.C had won after a very even match.
