Oscar Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Alvariño AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Thomas came free, but Ambrosio Nabar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustacio Tello hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Thomas in the 19th minute of play forced Alvariño AFC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Ulises Thomas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simblanca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Thomas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ambrosio Nabar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flavio Bikendi hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Ulises Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Nabar having to interfere. Alvariño AFC's Oscar Ciceron got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Oscar Ciceron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Pirro got free with Iker Luke in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Thomas to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Alvariño AFC booed when Simblanca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Petrigai didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes, Alvariño AFC's Eustacio Tello shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iker Luke came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alvariño AFC reached it. If Oscar Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Luke came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Alvariño AFC's Oscar Ciceron. But to his dismay, Oscar Ciceron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Hilario Karmel's late challenge caught a Simblanca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilario Karmel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Alvariño AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Hilario Karmel hit a great ball. Ulises Thomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ambrosio Nabar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Enzo Iratze came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Simblanca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Iratze couldn't finish the play. Enzo Iratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Enzo Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Pirro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Iker Luke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
