Baldomero Dei kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, General Paz Juniors's Serafin Berto got a free kick in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Virgilio Gonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rustico F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Gonzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Argoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Gonzo in the 16th minute of play forced General Paz Juniors's goalkeeper Hernan Argoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Rustico F.C's Guaberto Jaume nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernan Argoitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Gonzo in the 28th minute of play forced General Paz Juniors's goalkeeper Hernan Argoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Gonzo was the one to do the kick off. Hernan Argoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guaberto Jaume went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute Evelio Quico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Goren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rustico F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, General Paz Juniors's Evelio Elodio got a free kick in the 90th minute. The supporters of General Paz Juniors booed when Rustico F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Federigo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
