When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Tomás Guifre took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Nicasio Mogel to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Leguizamón got free with Nicasio Mogel in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guillermo Medardo came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Tucuman's Astor Baumar. But to his dismay, Astor Baumar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to hrd2xpln getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Fabian Oto hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guaberto Telo in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Medardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adolfo Leguizamón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Tucuman defense, Adolfo Leguizamón kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicasio Mogel. The Club Atletico Tucuman fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicasio Mogel should have stopped the shot. Adolfo Leguizamón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Mogel having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Astor Baumar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Medardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. hrd2xpln's Tomás Guifre got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Atletico Tucuman's Nicasio Mogel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Tucuman from getting a goal against them. Nereo Mederi's late challenge caught a hrd2xpln's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Mederi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Atletico Tucuman getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Nereo Mederi hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Nicasio Mogel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Leguizamón in the 56th minute of the match. If Adolfo Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Gregorio Joey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Astor Baumar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Baumars short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Guillermo Medardo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. hrd2xpln's Guillermo Medardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Telo in the 81st minute of play. hrd2xpln's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Guaberto Telo scored to the left of an out of position Guillermo Medardo, making the score, 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
