In the 24th minute, Astor Baumar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicasio Mogel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Oihan in the 29th minute of the match. Epifanio Gerazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Roderigo having to interfere. Nicasio Mogel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Olivar in the 70th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Tucuman's zone, Mario Markel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicasio Mogel came out of the goal and Mario Markel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cornelio Hermon hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Tucuman's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Olivar came free, but Nicasio Mogel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Guaberto Telo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate's Faustino Roderigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Placido Celino during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Placido Celino got a free kick in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, River Plate's goalkeeper Faustino Roderigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Astor Baumar. Club Atletico Tucuman's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
