When Sixto Tibalt came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the ▓► C.A. HURACÁN ◄▓ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Tibalt couldn't finish the play. Cecilio Enekoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Gau in the 4th minute of play. Ariel Gau struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Cecilio Enekoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba. Ariel Gau kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Cecilio Enekoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Gau in the 13th minute of play. Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba's Godfredo Criston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Errapel in the 18th minute of play. Cecilio Enekoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Gau, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Ariel Gau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecilio Enekoitz was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Ariel Gau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 played minutes ▓► C.A. HURACÁN ◄▓ got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Inge. The audience was convinced that Ariel Gau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecilio Enekoitz was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Ariel Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Cecilio Enekoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sixto Tibalt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Bonifacio Haritzeder came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Haritzeder couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Haritzeder notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of ▓► C.A. HURACÁN ◄▓'s Cecilio Enekoitz. Cecilio Enekoitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba's Bonifacio Haritzeder got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Inge during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabio Inge kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ariel Gau struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Cecilio Enekoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ariel Gau in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cecilio Enekoitz saved ▓► C.A. HURACÁN ◄▓ from getting behind. In the 76th minute Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba were awarded a corner. Fabian Neron went to the cornerflag to take it. Fabian Neron made a great header on Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba's corner, it was just that ▓► C.A. HURACÁN ◄▓'s Cecilio Enekoitz managed to reach the ball for a save. ▓► C.A. HURACÁN ◄▓'s Cecilio Enekoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Gau in the 80th minute of play. If Ariel Gau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Gau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fabio Inge was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, ▓► C.A. HURACÁN ◄▓'s Fabio Inge got a free kick in the 91st minute. Bonifacio Haritzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonifacio Haritzeder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cecilio Enekoitz having to make a save. Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
