The referee ignored Fc varela's protests and gave Eduardo Telmo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Retamito AFC booed when Fc varela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Telmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Godofredo Gamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Etxekopar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Retamito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Gamus came free, but Humberto Etxekopar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fc varela had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
