Retamito AFC's Ulises Lluc got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulises Lluc struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Everardo Artal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Retamito AFC. Silvano Enekoitz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Ulises Lluc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Retamito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Lluc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Artal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvano Enekoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Etxekopar having to interfere. Christian Oriche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Christian Oriche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Martín de Wilde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Oriche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humberto Etxekopar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Oriche's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Oriche in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Etxekopar saved Retamito AFC from getting behind. Teo Clis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Everardo Artal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teo Clis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Oriche to make the kick off. Humberto Etxekopar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Enekoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Ulises Lluc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Everardo Artal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Etxekopar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Enekoitz in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Retamito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Gregory to maneuver through the defense. Christian Oriche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Humberto Etxekopar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gregorio Loren fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Retamito AFC's protests and gave Gregorio Loren a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of San Martín de Wilde booed when Retamito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Loren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Etxekopar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Oriche in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Lluc got free with Everardo Artal in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Humberto Etxekopar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Oriche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ladislao Hats came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the San Martín de Wilde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Hats couldn't finish the play. Teo Clis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Artal having to interfere. Hugo Dolcet's late challenge caught a San Martín de Wilde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Dolcet helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Retamito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Dolcet.
