Guayquiraró FC's Astor Lucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Totakoxe in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC José C. Paz's zone, Fermin Aznar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Cisco came out of the goal and Fermin Aznar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Astor Lucero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Goi in the 18th minute of the match. Leon Totakoxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Astor Lucero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Saturnino Columbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Cisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Guayquiraró FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Totakoxe came free, but Astor Lucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Fermin Aznar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guayquiraró FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fermin Aznar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Cisco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC José C. After 43 minutes, Silvano Argoitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC José C. Paz and the Guayquiraró FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guayquiraró FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Columbo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saturnino Columbo made a kick off. Astor Lucero made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Alejandro Goi sent off a good shot on target. Luis Sagrario hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Leon Totakoxe fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Astor Lucero, passed just outside the right post. Astor Lucero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Totakoxe in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Julian Enaut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guayquiraró FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC José C. Paz the free kick. A hard shot by Faustino Patrido from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Astor Lucero's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Alejandro Goi might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Astor Lucero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejandro Goi ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejandro Goi got free with Astor Lucero in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Astor Lucero was a little too slow when Alejandro Goi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-1. If Saturnino Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Saturnino Columbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Aquiles Cisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Sagrario's late challenge caught a FC José C. Paz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Sagrario helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC José C. Paz booed when Guayquiraró FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Sagrario didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, FC José C. Paz's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Columbo came free, but Aquiles Cisco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC José C. Paz players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
