Edelmiro Hibai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Abeitia having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Leones's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Kemen came free, but Claudio Abeitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edelmiro Hibai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, Alvaro Kemen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claudio Abeitia. Alvaro Kemen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Edelmiro Hibai received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudio Abeitia came out and tried to block the shot, but Edelmiro Hibai slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Adrian Abel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claudio Abeitia. Adrian Abel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Edelmiro Hibai might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Abeitia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edelmiro Hibai ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34thth minute of the game Desiderio Mederi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ElFortin FC's Federico Illart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Alvaro Kemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edelmiro Hibai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Kemen in the 41st minute of play forced Leones's goalkeeper Claudio Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Illart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Mederi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Kemen to make the kick off. Claudio Abeitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Hibai in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th play minute Serafin Vedillo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Federico Illart. 4-1. 58 minutes into the game, ElFortin FC's Alvaro Kemen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Abeitia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After 61 played minutes Leones got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Pereyra. Claudio Abeitia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edelmiro Hibai's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Claudio Abeitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Hibai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute of the match Orlando Cutberto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudio Abeitia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Leones's Serafin Vedillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Illart narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th match minute, ElFortin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Abel to maneuver through the defense. Desiderio Mederi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Federico Illart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Vedillo got free with Federico Illart in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ElFortin FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
